More about this event
Climate Anxiety: How can we constructively deal with our distress for the state of the world?
In this call, we will explore the topic of climate anxiety. Climate anxiety (also called eco-anxiety) is a form of stress that many of us experience in the face of the current climate breakdown and ecological crisis.
It can manifest itself as fear, hopelessness, avoidance, grief or frustration. Anna Krebs from TransformAction Lab will share her story and some insights from latest research. You are also going to learn about The Work That Reconnects - an international methodology applied by TransformAction Lab that helps people express their feelings and regain a sense of agency through a deeper connection to themselves, others and nature.
Together we are going to share experiences and explore different coping mechanisms. Hopefully, you will leave the call with a sense of not being alone and having some ideas for navigating the difficult emotions related to the state of the world.
Facilitators:
The call will be hosted by Diana Oser, collaboratio helvetica’s community & partnership coordinator, and our guest Anna Krebs.
